Job Description :

Our client is seeking an Application Support & Change Analyst - UK, Gtr London / SE Eng (ref: J2122) to assist with the day to day operation and administration of key business systems including IT, Systems and Telephony. You will understand the applications used within the business in order to provide user support in relation to incidents, change requests and training. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Understand the key systems in use within client organisation and be able to provide assistance on a day to day basis when required , becoming a fully competent systems administrator in a variety of applications, including ALFA, Engage, Assist/Sprint and APAK.
Manage workload and helpdesk tickets using internal helpdesk system.
Work with IT support and Application providers to ensure smooth running of systems and that SLA’s are adhered to.
Provide application support to the Business on a day to day basis.
Deliver key areas of internal changes such as online documents, workflows, products.
Improve existing application support processes and document system administration.
Work with Business change analysts where further support required to resolve issues or implement changes.
Provide some basic technical IT support to the Business when required.
Provide guidance and training to business staff and answer any application related queries.
Manage projects as and when required ensuring a clear understanding of the business needs.
Assist users with identifying test areas, writing test scripts and carrying out User Acceptance Testing with the business when required to do so.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Good understanding of Microsoft packages, Office, Visio and Project.
Initiative to take on issues and liaise with members of other teams to resolve problems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Quality and objective analysis of data, process and people’s behaviour.
Good working knowledge of the Asset Finance Industry and products offered.
Ability to organise and run workshops with business users to gather requirements for changes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience of CHP ALFA systems and Pricing applications is preferred but not essential.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
